About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Treat everyone the way you want to be treated and learn to chill - don't sweat the small stuff.
Enjoy life and my family.
Love God and people and life!
To extend my family by meeting people from all over the world.
ABOUT ME
I love the world - I like to travel, meet new people and learn about the world.
I am into family, playing music (piano & singing), exercise and nutrition, reading, relaxing and enjoying nature.
I am currently totally addicted to quilting - both hand sewing and machine. I try to sew for half an hour a day.
Family is important and I have had people from all over the world stay at my house. I love to show people what the real Australia looks like.
I am learning to just 'be.' To watch the sun set, to listen to the wind or my breath.
I like to create - food, clothes, hats, patchwork quilts, crafty things......
I love to cook yummy food and share it in big gatherings.
I love my vegetable patch and watering it in my bare feet.
A few years back I went on a trip to Gallipoli and other parts of Europe with my son for almost 6 weeks. It was HEAVEN!!! Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia in the past few years has been new to me as my heart belongs in Europe. My last overseas travel was with my daughter to hit Europe for a month. Travel and family❤️
Lately hiking my own country has become a passion.
Who knows what is next …

Music, Movies, and Books
Romantic comedy in movies, but also historical stories. I do like the classics.
I read the bible each day for inspiration and life!
I go through authors and have currently been reading Philippa Gregory's historical fiction. I like Dan Brown and trying to broaden my horizons now with new authors. I have read most of Jane Austin's classics.
Music from my youth, Billy Joel, Cold Chisel, Elton John, Eagles, Meatloaf, Jimmy Barnes.
I am enjoying the music of my teenagers and am often at the piano with my daughter singing duets. I follow Hillsong music and love their take on modern music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting amazing places all over the world, WITH the people that I LOVE. Seeing dreams of travel become reality.
Teach, Learn, Share
Australia is a vast country, but in our area we have lakes and rivers and beautifully warm weather most of the year. We do have cold winters but still mainly blue skies.
We could jam together, or relax on the back veranda. The day bed hanging from the London Plane tree is a great place to chill.
A bedroom with a double bed will be offered. I do love to cook for people, so food is on offer for no cost.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bedroom with a double bed will be offered, when available. My husband does love to cook for people, so food is on offer for no cost. If I come to you - well, I love to talk about anything! And as I have said before - companionship is up there with the very air we breathe.
