About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and meet people from different countries and cultures!

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, see new places, meet new people, and learn new languages and about cultures. I like to try new and different things. One could say that I'm funny and shy at times, talkative, chill, tolerant and open minded.

I am currently living and working in Montreal, Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

"You got to be down to be down."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and met up with people from various countries when I was living in Anaheim, California and Istanbul, Turkey. I've surfed in Buenos Aires and Salta in Argentina, in Izmir, Turkey, and in Krakow and Gdynia in Poland. And since then, I have had the chance to couchsurf in other countries such as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Uruguay, Brazil, and Japan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Anaheim, CA, I hosted my first guests, two cyclists from Argentina that had been cycling across the Americas. They were really nice, inspiring, and interesting. I also hosted two French travelers, they were really fun, and I gave them a tour around Los Angeles and Orange County. I've hosted several Singaporeans in my house, they're really cool people, and a Germany guy who I've seen recently during my travels in Germany. In Istanbul, I hosted a Polish Erasmus student for a week while he looked for a home. It was a nice experience to help and show him a bit around the city even though I was also fairly new.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are A Separation, And Then We Danced, Holy Spider, Frida, 10 things I hate about you, Amelie, Capernaum, Anastasia, etc.

As for my favourite books, I guess King Leopold's Ghost and Sapiens, to name a few.

I love all kinds of music, but I prefer instrumental, lounge, lo-fi, ambient, and house music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done would be moving to Turkey and living there for two years. I learned a lot about myself and also about the culture and people there. Another amazing thing I have done is having completed nmy undergrad studies in a French-speaking university.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn a lot of different languages and cultures, and master Portuguese, and Turkish as well! :)

I'd like to share my passion in subjects I like, such as geography, religions, art, politics, cultures, linguistics, etc.
Or simply just share with people my cooking and the beauty of the city I'm living in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge, my culture, my cooking, and my home if I am able to host.
