After moving away from Fresno Ca to go to college , I began to realize there was a great big world that I hadnt traveled. After traveling around California , I got a little brave and moved to Alaska to finish my degree at the University of Fairbanks. After finishing my degree I decided to stay and call it home but the travel bug called. I was accepted to be a teaching assistant in France! Thats how a whole new adventure started and thats where I find myself now. Enjoying a different side of the world. Currently loving Europe.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I would like to join the community. I have heard incredible stories and I have experienced one of my own. I would love to belong to a group of people who love to travel and meet others while in the process. When I am able to, I would love to also host.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of mainstream english music but also enjoy spanish music like rancheras, cumbias, and rock en español. Some of my favorite movies include Pride and Prejudice, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, and all of the pixar movies. I also really enjoy watching comedies. Choosing my favorite book is difficult, although I enjoy all of Jane Austens novels and John Steinbeck books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I finished my degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. It wasn't just that I got a degree, it was that I studied something I am passionate about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach, learn, and share languages! But besides the obvious, I can cook a good number of varied dishes. Even though I feel llike a newbee, I can share any knowledge about traveling I may have.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My cleaning tendencies. I like to be a good hostee and enjoy helping out around the house. I can also share my experiences. We can also share a good homemade meal .
My Interests
I enjoy the outdoors quite a bit, I have grown to love it more each year. I also enjoy being indoors and being able to relax and practice my hobbies. Some leisure hobbies include reading, knitting, painting, coloring, and cooking!
