Hello! I am a friendly, compassionate Canadian woman looking to explore the nature and culture of the world. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and am currently living in Kingston, Ontario to pursue my Master's in Physical Therapy. In my year off between undergrad and graduate school I worked, volunteered at several hospitals in my home town, and spent the end of my year backpacking Canada's west coast, as well as a quick trip to Seattle. I enjoy hiking, trying new cuisines, and the arts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have known Couchsurfing vets since 2010 which is when my interest in travel really started. I'm on Couchsurfing to enhance my travel experience, as well as the experiences of hosts and fellow travellers. I know that even a short interaction with a local can really enrich the travel experience, and help you get to know the city better and what it has to offer. As a graduate student I can't ignore that it also isn't hard on the wallet!

Excellent cook (especially on a budget),
