My husband, Mark, and I immigrated from South Africa to Germany in 2018 so that we can travel Europe and perhaps the rest of the world too. Mark is an embedded software developer and I am a character designer and animator. We enjoy discovering new places and although we are shy, we enjoy meeting new people. We love boardgaming, hiking, parks and live music.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Before the pandemic, we were really enjoying our couchsurfing experience. We've met some amazing people while hosting and while travelling on the platform. We were not active during and after the pandemic but now are going o give it a go again, and look forward to meeting more amazing people!

Algo increíble que he hecho

We hiked up the Amphitheater in the Drakensberg in South Africa and spent the night there. We had to climb a really long chain ladder up a cliff and it was terrifying. The view the next morning above the clouds was the best experience I have ever had. Definitely worth going if you ever travel that way.

We would love to learn new boardgames and would enjoy sharing and teaching the boardgames we own.

We enjoy sharing a meal with our hosts/surfers to learn about them and to hear their stories.
