Travelling for me is not just about the sites I visit, but getting to know the locals or other visitors. That way I really get to know what a place is like from a unique and personal perspective. I also love just hanging out and truly getting to know people (their hopes, dreams, or fears). And the couchsurfing community is such a friendly, genuine, and interesting community to get to know.
