About Me
A Friendly Note for Visitors to Syria 🇸🇾
When you're here, don’t let anyone overcharge you. But also, spend a little more when you can. Buy gifts for your friends back home, grab a new outfit, maybe even get those cool sunglasses you've been thinking about. Think of it not just as shopping, but as a small way to support people who are rebuilding their lives. Tourism is one of the fastest ways to help communities recover, and everybit you spend helps someone directly.
Your visit matters. I hope you have an unforgettable time here
Hello Travelers and Hosts,
This is Sami, your once in a life time encounter :). I appreciate diversity and am excited about learning more about other cultures. I love talking about everything and anything, meeting new people, and trying different cuisines.
The contrast of growing up in Syria, experiencing years of revolution and war, moving to Turkey, and then pursuing my master's degree in the UK and travel to different countries has filled my life with many interesting stories to tell. However, I prefer to listen to people and hear more about their stories.
I love exploring, hiking, camping, reading, and, of course, coffee!
