ABOUT ME

Having completed my university studies in English Literature at Western University and the University of Toronto, I am currently residing in a small port town in Normandy, France, where I work as a tour guide at a nearby museum. As an amateur filmmaker, I'm spoiled for photographic subjects in France, and hope to take advantage of other European peoples and places in order to continue documenting my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

My only true conviction is that people rely on or are too heavily teathered to their own convictions, be they social, philosophical, or spiritual.
The fervent search for individualism that occupies those within the modern world creates hierarchies that are constantly being destabilized (but never overthrown). The more unique we feel as individuals, the more detached we become from the community of man. I strive to find opportunities to participate in and promote alternative communal lifestyles, and hope to someday find myself in a community where sharing, benevolence, and reflection will override the modern world's tendencies towards individualism, action, and complacency.
