I grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Atlanta five years ago. A little over two years ago I bought a house in Southwest Atlanta and I am learning a lot about being a homeowner! I have friends all over the country and I love planning trips to go visit them. I also enjoy planning local adventures like camping or day trips, especially to anywhere with mountains. I have become quite good at walking up steep hills and in general I prefer to be as active as possible, whether through running, hiking, playing frisbee or paddling one of my boats (I have a canoe and a kayak).

I enjoy many creative pursuits such as cooking, baking, drawing, painting, embroidery, sewing and other random crafts. I like an occasional recreational mind-expanding substance or two. I share my home with two very friendly cats and a ball python.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting weirdos from all over the place! I was a Couchsurfing and then an Air B'n'B host at the apartment I lived in a few years ago and it was a blast... until management found my Air B'n'B listing. D'oh! My current place is mine all mine though :-) so come on down!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not currently looking for a couchsurfing host, but what I can share with guests: a clean + comfortable room, good food and advice on things to do in the area. Depending on my availability I may also be able to offer transportation, frisbee picnics and possibly even canoe rides. And of course if you want company for a long grueling hike, I'm your gal.
