Goedendag!

And welcome from a teeny tiny country called "The Netherlands".
Leiden, to be exact, where I have done my BA to become an Art Historian.
One that is passioned about birds and Natural History books, prints and drawings.
Currently, I'm a personal assistant at an art gallery in Amsterdam and a researcher of ornithological drawings in an art gallery in New York. Occasionally I'm a model for art schools and artists.

I'm crazy, but in a fun way, I promise.
I'm pushing myself to draw more (see: Teach, Learn Share) and obsessed with parrots.
Highly sociable, very energetic, longing for the thrill of new adventures.
My motto is that breaking your boundaries is the best way to get to know yourself.
Everything in life becomes easier if you listen to your body, and when you are truly honest to yourself and the people around you.

Imagine yourself on the other side of the world, waking up on a couch, immersed by a culture you fell in love with from day one. Feel inner happiness, which grows by sharing it.
No boundaries.

That's my dream come true.

I am very thankful to already have gained unforgettable experiences with random peeps. And can't wait to broaden my horizon and to add more.

This journey through Australia and New Zealand will have as goal to come closer to myself. To denounce materialism, pride, ego. To open up and be thankful for all gifts in life, like health, relationships, and new visions. To be amazed by the beauty of nature. Bring me to parrots and I will cry of joy.

I hope I can share this energy with you. Show me what gives joy to your life and I'll do the same.

Yeah yeah, I know...
Like 90% of all millennial hipster chicks I'm into festivals, power yoga, preferably vegetarian food, meditation, running, museum etcetera etcetera...
While also very down to earth, direct, and openminded.

So don't sweat it, I'll go with your flow.

Parrots of the World by Joseph M. Forshaw (Australian ornithologist who lives in Newcastle, my dream to meet him!)

My second Bible:
Illustrated Checklist of the Birds of the World (Lynx editions).
With drawings of all 10.000 bird species. Turning pages in this book is like walking through a candy shop.
