Overview
About Me
I have countless hobbies like reading, jogging, knitting, building, gardening, simple mechanics, painting, drawing, writing. I like the outdoors and often go camping and hiking. I have worked in treeplanting camps for countless years. I finished my degree in social work last year and hope to one day become a therapist and/or urban planner.
I spend alot of time with my dog. I don't drink but I still like to socialize. I love wandering around new places and doing new things. I like a little whimsy.
I am an analogue queen and use a flip phone and prefer living without wifi. I love posting letters. I like to feel present and engaged with the world around me.
I've just taken up kickboxing and gymnastics. I like to talk about ideas and books.
I'm working on my handstands.
I don't leave the country much because I love my dog too much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's really nice to get to see someone's version of their own city or town. I used couchsurfing in 2011 when I first left the country. It was the best way of staying in different places and feels more like a local experience. You see things and go places you probably wouldn't have otherwise. I love traveling solo but I also want to connect with people.
