About Me

Well, like fortunately a lot of people in this Community, I am a really easy-going, an outgoing and a happy guy who loves to meet people from all around the world, sharing experiences, life approaches...
As this is not a job interview, I can allow myself to tell something not so good about me, like at times I am kind of distracted, naïve and maybe too sincere (well, it depends on the culture, perhaps).

Like everybody here I guess, I love traveling and living abroad offers me the possibility to know other cultures, something great in the multicultural city of Biel/Bienne.

I love practicing different sports, at the mountain or at the lake, being my favorite spot a beach.
Making kilometers by car, motorbike or in my old camping car is another of my favorites hobbies.
I love reading, listening to the radio or watching tv in different languages. About music: Rock is my favorite style.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I love meeting people, just talk with anybody and drink a beer is already something fun for me, so, what better place to meet people than Couchsurfing?

I had several experiences with groups of Couchsurfing people that I loved, like for example going sixty people to the natural park of Islas Cíes, where I met people from Asturias with whom I went to the National Park of Picos de Europa...

A lot of people from the community and outside have slept at my place, even if you can not tell it because of references (friends of friends).
Curiously enough, I've never used the community to sleep in another city (there are so many chances nowadays) but just to meet local people.

In the city where I am currently living, I've learned about a group of Whatsapp through Couchsurfing. A group made up of friends from different countries as well as Swiss from outside Biel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a huge range of styles of music and films, difficult to define or mention here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a handicap in my ankles, as a consequence of an appendicitis at the age of 10 months and after having started to practice sports in the early twenties, I feel very proud to have finished a Marathon.

I am also quite proud of my languages learning, as it was an endeavor, even if it paid off, and it was something that I made with great pleasure.

Driving myself by car, motorbike or van around Spain and Europe.

Learning different trades.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my view of life in a friendly way, being your guide in the city and helping you in whatever is on my hands.
We could make a language tandem too in case you are interested in. I've been doing an Italian/Spanisch tandem for four years and I believe that I already know how they work.

My place and maybe cooking something typical for our country together.
