I am a student living in Canberra. I'm in my first year of uni, studying International Relations as a major. IR kind of came about because of my travels around Europe last year, learning about the way the whole world works together is actually pretty cool.
I have been living in Canberra for the last 5 years, and work in a restaurant where they don't let me wait tables because i'm just so bad at it.
Good food, good music and good people are three of my favourite things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I have been travelling, I've come to love meeting new people and I figure couch surfing is a great way to do that. I like that it gives you the opportunity to learn more about a place than if you're staying in a hostel somewhere (plus, there are a lot less snorers).

Interests

I love dancing (drunkenly, I'll admit), going out with friends, going to the movies, a bit of shopping every now and again. I love travelling, although I have really only just started.
I love music festivals and since I am studying I can't travel. As a result my friend and I are determined to make this the year of music festivals.

Going to the beach, road trips, fish n chips. I love writing, history and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

Literally just saw Sing Street which was amazing. Love a good indie flick, like Bella or Once. Sucker for a musical or just a really good soundtrack if no musicals are available.
Currently in love with Courtney Barnett, The Avalanches, Arctic Monkeys, K Flay and Montaigne
Fave books are romances, it just can't be helped.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of Ponte Mesco in Cinque Terre, it took us about two hours up, awful rocky steps all the way, in the middle of summer, but the view was absolutely worth it. I participated in La Tomatina in Buñol, which was one of the most hectic, disgusting, amazing experiences of my life.
