About Me

Fond of fun and silliness. Working towards making a big impact on the world, one connection, one opportunity, one experience and one smile at a time. Hoping to help in the conservation of the environment and enforcement of human rights & equal rights for all. Love for adventure, travel, spirituality, positivity :))) and meeting people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love travelling and hope to do lots more of it in future. I'll be going to Paris & Tokyo soon and have plans to back pack around South America in the near future, going on an interrail trip around Europe this summer. I love the idea of Couchsurfing - an easy, laid-back method of travel and accommodation in foreign countries where travellers have more than just a place to stay but a way of properly getting to know a location through a welcoming, happy and accommodating host who can help them learn more about the country and feel welcomed.

Interests

Love for travel, writing, drawing, photography, adventure - big fan of scuba diving, surfing, jogging, hiking, white-water rafting. I do boxing and football at university. In Amnesty International, UNICEF, Feminist, Meditation, Out of Doors and Student Volunteers societies. President of Be the Change society which has projects like 'project refugee', 'the big rubbish project' and 'fair trade project', dealing with lots of world issues. Volunteer for various local organisations like CAB, Choice and Restore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Love to do lots of cool adventurous activities when in a foreign country like Snorkelling in Egypt, Scuba diving between the continental plates & glacier hiking in Iceland, safaris and getting to know locals through traditional activities. I stayed in Morocco for a couple weeks, I went to the desert & camped under the stars and taught English in a school in Marrakech and then I stayed in a Berber village and went trekking in the Atlas Mountains.

One amazing experience --> an event called 'Jailbreak' where friends and I were dressed in silly clothes and had to get as far away as we could from the university in only 36hrs without spending any money, purely through hitchhiking. We got to talk to & get to know amazing people and made amazing memories. We made it all the way to Germany from England, and we raised more than 300 pounds for charity. I've also hitch hiked to Amsterdam and stayed there for a weekend then hitch hiked back to uni. Why not?

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the fact that no one individual was born the same location, comes from the same place, grew up with the same people, had the same experiences, has the same stories, opinions and views. I find the variety of life beautiful and I love making connections through listening and learning about others and sharing my life with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories, ideas, opinions, ideologies and philosophies on life and I can listen and learn all about the life stories of others, and build amazing & happy connections.
