Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Sarah 🌸 French, 32 years old. For the past 10 years, I’ve been living abroad — mostly in Brazil, Nepal and India, where I’ve been immersed in simple, spiritual, and community-based living. Right now I live in an ashram (kind of like a monastery), where daily life is focused on service, meditation, and living with awareness.
Before that, I spent 5 years living a simple life in Brazil, exploring new cultures, languages, and ways of life. Couchsurfing was always my favorite way to travel, not just for a place to stay, but to meet kind, open-hearted people and share moments that go beyond tourism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ll be traveling through Europe to follow Amma, an Indian spiritual teacher (the lady who has hugged 40 million people) whose programs I volunteer at. This means I’ll be moving from city to city with a light backpack, a simple lifestyle, and an open heart 🌿.
I don’t need much: just a quiet and welcoming corner to rest. In exchange, I’m always happy to cook something, share stories about Brazil, India, or Latin America, or even bring you along to Amma’s program if you’re curious.
