HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I looove the concept of sleeping at nice people's houses during vacations and other trips, and I also get a kick out of spending time with those nice people :-)

My work is very important to me so when I'm hosting weekdays I wanna go to bed 10 p.m. the latest and during these days I'm not eager to do loads of touristing. In other words: you have to be somewhat independent to come live with me and be capable to do things on your own.
During week-ends and holiday's I'm more eager to join you guys touristing or going out for a drink (I don't drink beer).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When my class went to Italy I made sure to meet some italians (through CS), sth my classmates did not. In the end, none of the others can say that they've been at a real roman nightclub, that they've danced tango in northen Rome in the middle of the night with an italian or that they've experienced the roman traffic from within a car.

A few years ago I had the most amazing Couchsurfer-summer when I first went with a friend for two weeks to the western USA and then with another friend for one week to the south of France. All in all I think we spent one night in a hostel, and the rest of the time we couchsurfed!

This is what I love about couchsurfing, you get to know a culture from within, not only as a tourist.

I have a passion for movies but lately I've started to find romantic comedies silly.

Music... I love r'n'b and soul the most but I can listnen to almost everyting. At the moment I'm in to BEYONCÉ. And a nice jazz-playlist is never wrong.
