About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world while meeting awesome people.
ABOUT ME
Howdy everyone!
I am a dynamic, reliable, and open-minded backpacker at heart with a big passion for travelling (obviously haha) and a keen interest in languages and cross-cultural studies.
Since, at the age of 18, I moved out from the household where I was born and grew up, I kept creating opportunities to explore new countries and learn about others' cultures through holidays, projects, homestays, study programs...and sometimes actual work too, abroad ;)
I started seven new lives in seven different countries and changed cities even more often. Since November 2023 I have been on a longer career break to find out what steps I want to take next. After the first eight months of this glorious journey, I decided to temporarily "settle down" in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am travelling with an one-way ticket only and this is the greatest freedom I've ever felt in my life.
*At the moment, I am taking a break from Brazil and have come back to the second country I love the most in the world, Colombia*
PHILOSOPHY
Try to get the best out of your life, and every day will be worth living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was an active host as long as my life was more or less sedentary, while as a nomad now, I am mainly using Couchsurfing to meet awesome people and create meaningful connections.
Interests
My greatest passion is travelling, and I love hiking in the mountains, which is a form of meditation to me. I am a sporty and dynamic person and I'm pretty much up for trying out any new sport, perhaps a bit less the extreme ones ;) I am also keen on cooking, especially when sharing a meal with others. Perhaps less attractive to most, but I am also quite into coffee and on rainy days or whenever I need to recharge, I really don't mind coffee hopping.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite books are novels, especially historical ones. I read all Ken Follet's books, some twice.
I might be the weirdo these days, but I am not into techno or electronic music at all - try change my mind if you dare ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my secure life in Switzerland, quit everything and gone travelling for an indefinite period of time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share some amazing Italian cuisine recipes (and cook too, for sure!) and expert travel tips ;)
