My name is Ilya, I’m 30 years old and I’m from Russia. I’ve been traveling for more than 7 years and have visited over 50 countries. For me, traveling is mainly about people, real communication, and understanding how life works in different parts of the world.

Currently, I’m traveling around South America with my friend Karolina. At the moment, we are in Peru and traveling by hitchhiking, gradually getting to know the country and the people along the way.

We are learning Spanish, but we’re still not very confident speaking it. We’re happy to practice and are understanding about language barriers.

By nature, we are calm, slightly introverted, and a bit shy. We value personal space, quiet moments, and respectful communication. At the same time, we are open, friendly, and truly grateful for hospitality.

I’m interested in travel in all its forms: new countries, small towns, nature, and everyday life in different parts of the world. I enjoy mountains, hiking, the road itself, and traveling at an unhurried pace.

I appreciate simple things: camping, nature, local food, quiet places, and changing surroundings. I’m also interested in volunteering and projects that benefit people and the environment.
