About Me

Hi there I am satoshi. I am based in Buenos Aires. I studied advertising and later started a degree in political science, but with the way things are going in Argentina, I decided it was time to hit pause and see the world for a bit. I was born and raised in Peru and moved to Argentina for college, but now I’m ready for a new adventure — first stop: Australia!

I love exploring new cities on foot, trying different flavors, and seeing how people live their everyday lives. I’m really into politics, culture, and people’s stories — honestly, I think that’s what makes traveling so special.

Music, Movies, and Books

During my teenage years, I went through my emo phase — I blame my millennial sister — but over time, my taste expanded. I love pop divas like Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, 80s icons like Queen and Eurythmics, and even Japanese city pop legends like Mariya Takeuchi. I had my grunge and “snob” phases too (thanks, Radiohead). These days, I shamelessly enjoy Blackpink and NewJeans, and I’ll always worship Argentine rock — Charly García and Fito Páez forever. I’m into indie films, documentaries, and Spanish-language authors like Vargas Llosa, Cortázar, and Camila Sosa Villada.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my teenage years, I watched way too much TV, so my goal was to become a celebrity. I even ended up on a reality show to become a circus star (don’t ask, lol), and later had a small role in a teen series back in Peru. If we ever meet, please save my autograph, lol.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’d love to share my travel experiences and teach my marvelous ability to say “hi” in 10 languages, lol. I’d also love to learn about your background, get to know your city, and enjoy your natural habitat. I may not be the best chef in the world, but my onigiri (rice balls) and Peruvian ceviche are pretty good if you’re interested. I’m also a bit of an egg professional — from boiled to fried, and on a good day, I can even make a decent omurice (egg with rice). And I’m pretty good at giving massages too — though, sorry, no happy endings guaranteed, lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, my beautiful presence 🤣. But also, if you’re into cooking, I can share some Peruvian spicy sauces and my pretty decent massage skills. I’m sure that with a good coffee and a chat about our life stories, we’ll have great vibes. I’m both a good listener and a storyteller, so if we share similar interests, I’m sure we’ll get along really well. Thanks for reading
