Overview
About Me
Hi. I am trying host at CouchSurfing. I am 42 years old man, having 4 children.
CouchSurfing の初心者ですが、知らない人たちと新しい交流ができることにワクワクしています。
CouchSurfing では私の所有しているシェアハウスを提供しています。
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live in the countryside of Japan with my family, so I don’t often get the chance to meet new people from outside my town.
Aizuwakamatsu is a famous sightseeing and historical city in Japan, and many travelers visit here.
Through CouchSurfing, I hope I can help visitors enjoy Aizu and also have fun spending time together.
I bought an old house in Aizuwakamatsu. At first, I just rented it out, but later I met a student from the local university (my junior). He has skills in computing, electrical engineering, English, and music.
So I decided to rent the house to him and we made it into a share house. He and other students repair and improve the house by themselves, enjoy DIY, programming, and also interact with other local people.
One of the most exciting things they started is hosting CouchSurfing guests. We really enjoy these connections!
The house is not new and not perfectly clean, but students are living there and they are enjoying their life.
## Hosting
I am the owner of the share house.
Ryoma Okuda is the leader of the share house. He not only started an IT company there, but he is also very interested in music and making things. For example, he creates both software and hardware synthesizers by himself.
Many other university students, especially those who major in IT, also visit the house. This makes the atmosphere very exciting and stimulating for both residents and guests.
Together with Ryoma, I welcome you to Aizuwakamatsu and the share house.
Please understand that we need to adjust our schedule when hosting guests.
Sometimes they may be busy with work or projects and cannot spend much time with guests, but whenever possible they love to share their activities and ideas.
## The Share House
Currently 2 members are living in the house, and sometimes other students or friends also visit.
Let’s enjoy communication with them!
The house is not super clean, but they are trying their best. I can send you photos before your stay.
If you can help with cleaning, cooking, or improving the house, that would make everyone happy. m(_ _)m
## Capacity
Since 2 members are living in the share house, I need to care about their lifestyle too.
So we usually accept about 1–2 groups per month.
Please forgive me if I sometimes decline requests.
