Never settling down and keep on pushing the limit
I am often torn between the habitual and the unconventional, between the safe and the unpredictable, between the uninspiring and the creative. It is difficult to break out of society's stranglehold on what we are supposed to do, in life, in our education, in our careers, in virtually any aspect of our being. But while I keep in mind the standard ways of doing things, or perhaps the expected, I often find myself doing the very antithesis of the normal way, the proven way, even the smart way. Call it rebellious, call it stupid, I call it exciting, stimulating, and satisfying. Life is too short to live by the books. Books might help, but I want to explore my own path.
Couchsurfing has certainly allowed me to do just that! Other people might call this weird or unorthodox, but I love it for exactly that!
I was born in Switzerland, but spent a large part of my childhood in the San Francisco area. A few years ago I was back in Europe to study, party, meet lots of fabulous people and discover Couchsurfing. I love the CS community which has really helped me meet so many wonderful people everywhere I go. It's truly a success that shows the fundamental human spirit we all have in us to share and give. I can't wait to be able to host fellow Couchsurfers to give back the wonderfully good times I've been shown by so many people like you. I can only say thank you all out there that have enriched my life with their hospitality, love, humor, cooking skills, travel tips, crazy night outs, and all the little things that seem so unimportant but mean the world! I will do my best to give back just the same!
Live life to the fullest!

Amazing! What a truly wonderful idea.
Everything has potential no? Currently I'm into motorcycles, film music, fashion, home decor haha (as I just moved into a new apartment!), and soon snowboarding and skiing again :)
