just doin' me. seeing the world, visiting friends, making memories.
I've just completed my undergraduate studies at Victoria University and I have been dying to get out of here and travel again. In the 2.5 years I have managed to pin myself down here, I have improved my Spanish, picked up German, French and Italian and learnt a whole lot about languages in general.
Wellington has been an awesome, hilly, windy place in which to live. There's a cool nightlife, a sweet indie scene and a different themed café on every corner (apparently 600 in total). It's pretty much the perfect city in some senses. It will be sad to say goodbye, especially to the wonderful places like the waterfront and atop Mt. Victoria, but my time here is coming to an end - it's time to move on :)
Just do you. Have fun. Be fun. There is more to life than just living! Travel :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Usually I like to host people (and can probably host a few more before I leave to start travelling again), meet up for coffee/show people around, and crash on a few couches when travelling.
I've stayed with heaps of people when I was travelling across Europe for 2 months in 2011/2012. I don't think I stayed in any paid accommodation the whole time.
I REALLY LOVE BAKING AND COOKING - I CAN DO THIS FOR YOU!
I love the arts - music, film and painting in particular.
I'm more into alternative genres and jazz when it comes to music,
and independent films. I paint artworks myself, and love going to art galleries and conversing about all things arty :)
I'm also particularly fond of languages. In fact, probably more fond of languages than anything else in life.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Cocorosie, Alice Russell, Quantic, Fat Freddy's Drop, Tycho, Gorillaz, Moby, Armand Van Helden, Arcade Fire, Joakim.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived in the Amazon. I've climbed Machu Picchu, travelled through Lake Titikaka and trekked down into Canyon del Colca - The World's Deepest Canyon. You really should visit Peru! Been around Paris by night on a scooter, getting caught in a blizzard in Reykjavik... and Glow-worm caving in Waitomo Caves!
