ABOUT ME

Wow...where to begin??? Well I've been stepping outside of my shell and my comfort zone. I'm back in school for nursing (like everyone and their mother, right?) while still working full-time, so it's been a balancing act, and one that I don't always do well. I have some AMAZING friends who love me in spite of that. I'm laid back, but hyper sometimes (especially when sleep deprived). I can be goofy and incredibly hilarious. I'm also quite gullible to the amusement of my friends. I have an open heart, sometimes too much of an open mouth. I'm honest and I care about others. I'm human. I heart yoga pants. And Tarjay. Just saying.

PHILOSOPHY

The Golden Rule is super important to me. I'm a Christian, but I'm not looking to impose my beliefs on others. I'm open to questions and honest discussion, but don't like pointless debate. I know what and Who I believe in.

Just pass out at Nichole's place regularly. Super comfy couch.

兴趣

I love food!!! Cooking, baking, eating, trying it, tv shows, blah, blah, blah... Like reading, but haven't picked up a book for fun in a while. Also enjoy outdoors - walking, some running when IT band isn't acting up, biking, soccer, rock climbing (only done this indoors actually - waiting to take it outside), sailing. Also play an Irish sport called hurling (camogie for when just women play). I'm interested in trying new things like whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, skiing, snowboarding, etc...

Love funny! I will watch a chick flick if it's good.
Music - I lean towards pop and country, but handle just about anything live if it's not too loud/if I have earplugs :o).
Books - Chronicles of Narnia is the only one I can think of off-hand.

I'm so, so blessed with kicka$$ friends. I'm grateful for every silly moment, every inside joke, every heart-to-heart talk, and every fun night out or in. I dig the beauty of my current surroundings - the parks, the lakefront, sunrises, and sunsets. I'm game for checking out other places, but where I'm at right now isn't too shabby.

I have mad beginner cake decorating skills, as well as an awesome chocolate cake recipe. Otherwise, I'm game for learning alongside of other people.
