COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've played around on my own couch but never done it for real in a different country (surfed that is rather than played around...hmmm....spade anyone?)

Can anyone truly answer this?....doesn't everyone's taste in music, books and films change depending on their mood and recent experience? Was on holiday with my folks about 10 years back and totally got into a Fleetwood Mac album - not sure what mood I was in there but fortunately I haven't been there since. Having said that, Donnie Darko, Morcheeba and The Mouse and his Child in that order (god, I'm so weak ;o)
