Overview
About Me
I/We can only host one person usually. If you're two (or more), bring a separate sleeping bag and it should work.
I am living together with my girlfriend Irma. We will probably not host people with no references / an incomplete profile or a short request without any personal information.
I am from Germany and lived the first 18 years of my life in Thalheim, a lovely little town located in the beautiful mountain range "Erzgebirge" in the east of Germany near Czech Republic.
I am an easy, relaxed and open minded person I would say. I try to keep doing as much amazing/crazy/stupid stuff as possible and not to get lazy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing means getting in touch with lots of interesting people. Also, I realised that in Yerevan as I looked for people who are as well interested in climbing as I am, it helps to get in contact with people who share the same interests.
In turkey I never used couchsurfing and in the aftermath I think I missed out on a lot of information about cities or regions as I couldn't always find English speakers to talk to. So that's just an example of how you could deeper explore a country with local hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I read on CS once: "this is called bragging", and after thinking about it for a week or so, I agreed to disagree. Still, that dude's got a point and I therefore renamed this category to "moments that I like looking back to"
I just post one story here which I change from time to time. More of them you can hear when we meet:
I've already quite often, almost every year since 2018, spent ~1 month in the Alps in winter to go skitouring. It's such a rewarding experience to hike to some mountain or pass on your skis and then descend down to the valley again through areas where sometimes there wasn't anybody since the summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some chords on guitar, though I am more interested in learning guitar than teaching. If there's a piano nearby I could as well try to teach you something on this instrument.
Furthermore, I am interested in learning any instrument, at least some basics.
And i can share with you my addiction for climbing and show you some interesting and beautiful places around Dresden. Or my hometown.
Near Dresden I could take you to the "Saxon Switzerland" national park. If you're not a beginner, I would take you to go climbing there, too
What I Can Share with Hosts
Really depends. Playing board games or playing music. Jamming around. Spending the whole day together, maybe hiking, maybe talking. Going to a restaurant or cooking something. I can tell some stories in the meantime, too.
Mostly though, and most importantly, I will try to be a respectful guest in your home and spend time with you.
