ABOUT ME

I'm a happy, friendly, enthusiastic girl who has just moved all the way from South Africa to come and study in Holland!!

I was born in George, South Africa to German parents who decided to move away from Germany to start a new life by building up a farm in South Africa.Unfortunatly ,although they worked very hard, it never really became what you would call a "booming success story" but it was very nice living on a farm with so much nature. I love all animals and like taking walks in nature and enjoying the serenity that can be found in a single duck making its way slowly across the water :)
I have already finished a degree( bachelors) in Language and culture with a major in English and German and studied in the town of Stellenbosch( famous for its good wines!!! ) wich is also in South africa. In my third year I did an exchange to Mississippi in America wich was lots of fun and very interesting to witness first hand ^_^. I have also finished a Bachelors in Psychology at the Uni of Groningen and am now working on my master in Marketing Managment.

PHILOSOPHY

It is the small things in life that give us pleasure. Like a budding flower, the smell of rain,a kind gesture or even just a hug :)

Reading, drawing, watching anything funny on TV( films, shows, sitcoms), hunting down a bargain, eating, art ( visiting galleries- my main love is for the expressionists but there is some modern pop art that is just fantastic), watching anime/reading mangas( once again-anything funny)...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen: The statue of liberty up close, sat in the first row of a Musical( Rent), helped a baby crocodile hatch from an egg, met one of my best friends over facebook, been in a car so hot my lip-balm melted, been to Robben Island( where Mandela was held captive), had a squirrel sit on my shoulder and got my currently biggest suitcase closed in under 10 minutes. That last one is the most amazing of them all considering the amount of luggage I have.
