Hello everyone!
I’m Serdar, a doctor from Turkey who splits his time between vibrant Kadıköy (Istanbul) and the peaceful seaside village of Palamutbükü (Datça). I’ve traveled through most of Europe, Latin America, and Russia, collecting stories, flavors, and friendships along the way.
I’m an easy-going, curious, and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. Whether it’s sharing a good meal, a glass of wine, or a deep conversation about life and culture — I’m always up for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe travel is not only about places but about people.
Couchsurfing has given me some of the most memorable experiences of my life — spontaneous dinners, late-night talks, unexpected friendships. Now I’d love to return that kindness by hosting travelers in my homes in Istanbul and Datça.
