Hi everyone. I am Sergio Contreras, from Colombia. I am Master in Engineering - Electrical Engineer of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and now I am doing my PhD. in the planning of electric networks with renewable energies. Therefore, I am living in Bremen Germany and working as a researcher. I love outdoor activities since I like nature and sports. So I always try to practice sports such as trekking, hiking, climbing, mountaineering and mountain bike, as well as all the triathlon disciplines: running, swimming and cycling. I love landscape photography, therefore I like to go out with my camera to shoot sometimes. I also like salsa and bachata latino American social dancing styles. I consider myself open-minded, super relax, extrovertive and respectful.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and discover the culture from the local people's customs of the places that I visit. That is why I love the Couchsurfing plan. Furthermore, it is a really great way to expand my friend's network and be open to learn and teach with all my trips.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love classic rock music such as Beatles, Rolling Stones, Doors, Def Lepard etc, etc. But I am also super open to all the music styles. I come from Colombia, so, Latin music is also in my veins.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I used to practice mountaineering, so I have achieved some summits in Colombia. Once I was inside of a deep crack doing a cracks rescue with ropes course.
