About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A Life of Exploration and Discovery...

***My current mission in life is to live among humans before I must return to my home planet, a playful nod to my constant sense of curiosity and fascination with the world. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in Limnology and a PhD as well in Limnology; but my education extends far beyond the academic. I’m a passionate chess player, a certified diver, and a limnologist in training all the time. My greatest joy comes from traveling and immersing myself in different cultures and environments. I believe every person has a story worth hearing, and I love meeting new people from all corners of the globe because there is always something to learn from them, even from the most unexpected encounters. My soul truly feels at home when I'm outdoors, whether I'm exploring deep woods, navigating calm lakes, riding the currents of a river, feeling the vastness of the ocean, or spelunking in the depths of a cave***

My personal philosophy is a quote I find both humorous and profoundly true: "What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left." It's a reminder to stay grounded and appreciate the value of learning from others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

*** I'm on Couchsurfing because it's a "fucking amazing" way to connect with the world and create authentic, unforgettable experiences. My life motto is "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough," and Couchsurfing helps me do things right. It's not just about finding a place to sleep; it's about sharing moments and building connections that last a lifetime. I’m an active participant in this community, believing in the power of genuine interaction. I always appreciate it when people take the time to read my profile and show they've done their research. A little effort goes a long way, which is why I ask guests to include the phrase "Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat" in their requests—it's a simple test to ensure you're a genuine traveler, not just someone looking for a free place to stay !!!***

Teach, Learn, Share

***I’m eager to share my knowledge and skills with hosts and fellow travelers. I can teach you some excellent chess tactics, delve into the world of biology and limnology, explain the taxonomy of tiny rotifers, and discuss the intricate relationship between microorganisms and their environment. I'm also happy to teach you water chemistry. In return, I'm always looking to exchange ideas, learn new languages, or at least pick up a few essential words and phrases. Of course, I can also share tips on how to cook authentic Mexican dishes and reveal the best spots for beer and tacos in the city. If you’re interested in improving your Spanish, I can offer a crash course with a perfect accent***

*** What do you get the man who has everything?

Might I suggest a gravestone enscribed with the words: So what? ***

What I Can Share with Hosts

All the things that I know and maybe we can find together a different way to do something or even improve it.

Life experiences and so many stories of hundreds of places and unforgettable moments!!!

Great options of places to get some beer and the best tacos in the city !!!
