About Me
Hi!
I was born and raised in South Korea. I work as a certified public accountant and currently work at an accounting firm, mainly doing external audits.
I’m calm, respectful, and enjoy quiet spaces — but I also really love connecting with people from different cultures. I believe Couchsurfing is not just about offering a place to sleep, but about sharing moments, stories, and kindness between strangers.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, learning new things, and having meaningful conversations with interesting people. If you're open-minded, thoughtful, and kind, I think we’ll have a great time getting to know each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to improve my English speaking skills. I sometimes join English conversation gatherings, but I feel like my progress is slow. I figured the best way to improve is by creating an environment where I can use English as much as possible.
Also, I’ve always loved traveling, and I find it exciting to meet travelers and hear their stories. Couchsurfing seems like the perfect mix — cultural exchange, language practice, and connecting with people from all over the world.
That said, please don’t worry if your English isn’t perfect. I’m not expecting fluent conversations — I just enjoy being in situations where I get to use English, even in simple ways. As long as we can share stories and smiles, that’s more than enough for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016, I traveled across six European countries (Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, and Hungary) for 40 days — even though I had little money and barely spoke English.
In 2025, I did a 64-day trip through eight countries (Turkey, France, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Italy and Russia) while working remotely with my laptop. It was tough, but one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Of course, I still don’t speak English very well — but I’m working on it 😁
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of Korean and share insights into life in Korea.
I’d love to learn more about your culture, your language, or just how you see the world.
Let’s share good conversations, quiet moments, and maybe a laugh or two along the way.
