COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I stumbled across some people my age when in portland and ended up couching at one of their houses that night rather than driving way out of town just to pitch my tent. She was great and very hospitable. The next day she even loaned me her bike so I could tool around portland the way it's meant to be seen. I'm learning not to underestimate friendship!
