About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am trying to discover more of this world than I have seen till now. I try to be so creative and open-minded as possible. After living in Hamburg for 36 years I must moved to beautiful Warsaw in Poland. Lets discover the city together!
ABOUT ME
I like to learn everything about the world: languages, music, mentalities, philosophies, societys. I like so much too listen to stories and tell them. I like all kinds of adventures, leaving the comfort zone, facing challenges. I like the unexpected. I love to be creative in many ways. Life is absurd. Survive by laughing. Start living!
PHILOSOPHY
Its quite easy: You must find out want you want and then do it. But that of course is the hardest thing ever! Because life offers a milion opportunities and distractions and there are so many role models and philosophies. You can only find out by introspection, try and error. There is no other way. Don't count on religions, ideologies or any advice of others. I think there are some basic aims we all share: As intelligent beings we want to learn. As social animals we want to connect and spread joy. As producers we want to be useful. As nomads we want to disvover the world. And as living creatures we want to have kids to defeat death. So, having said that advice never helps, here is my advice: Don't hurry. Don't be afraid. Surprise everyone and especially yourself. Be brave. Never mind what the others say. Chose your profession well. Money is abstract wealth, but it still can be amazing to make it. Don't buy things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't like. Always remember, in the end it is about friends, love and art. Make your dreams come true, and meanwhile, be happy. Its only success if you do what you want. Success comes not with plans, but with taking opportunities. Leave the battelfiels, change the environment, if it does not fit you. We do not need states, religions, morals. People who consider themselves as altruists are the truly dangerous people. The greatest thing is to slowly become yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosting many, many people now, and I did some surfing. Definitely I want to surf even more after hosting so much :-)))
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted Surfers from all over the world, from New Zealand, Taiwan, China, Russia, Hongkong, USA, Canada, Italy, France, Brazil... I had a great time with all of them and it was a wonderful experience. I also did Couchsurfing as a surfer in Subsaharian Africa and it was simply amazing!
Interests
First: I love dancing! Second: I love being in the nature, hiking, biking or by boat; most of my travels I did by bicycle. Third: I love cooking! If you visit me, we should definitely cook together. (I hope you don't mind I am vegan!) Fourth: I love the CINEMA! We have a great independent cinema a few steps from here, maybe we could see an international movie together. Fifth: I love music, literature and theatre. I have been working as a singer and musician for a long time. Then I focussed on writing books; in fact I wrote 16 books and published eleven on them (in the last five years - hard to believe!) Now I focus on composing and enjoy musical contacts around the globe. I have seen premieres of mine in Germany, England, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland Taiwan and Japan. Sixth: I love Hamburg! It's simply beautiful. Seventh: Should be the first: My children! I am quite proud they are already or nearly grown up now.

My heroes in film are: Luis Bunuel, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar, Fatih Akin, The Coen Brothers. My heros in Literature are Dostojewski, Tolstoi, Stendal, Alessando Barico, David Mitchell. My favourite Composers are Ravel, Debussy, Stravinsky, Schubert, Chopin. Actually I really love all books by Tom Hodgkinson and even went to London to make an interview with him for a german newspaper.
Now I enjoy reading the great libertarian Philosophers like Walter Block, Murray Rothbard, Hans-Hermann Hoppe, Frederic Bastiat, Henry Hazlitt and Jesus de Soto. My favourite life philosopher is Steve Peters with his fabulous book "The Chimp Paradox." Read it und understand 90% of your problems!
