About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LIVING. Not only travelling because one thing is getting to know this amazing earth, but also diverse people, because at the end, its all about experiences.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany but I've lived most of my life in Costa Rica. Curently I'm living in Freiburg, Germany.

I'm a very sociable person who loves to travel and getting to know new places, their people and it's culture, and also the food haha. I also enjoy the outdoors, the mountains and trail running is my passion. I'm getting into climbing and mountain biking. I speak german, spanish and english. And I'm trying to learn french. As a guest I consider myself very respectful and I always clean after myself. Also I consider myself very open minded. You can email me / call me anytime you like.

Well I hope this gives you a little idea of what I like and who I am, anything else you want to know, just contact me ;) and as our motto goes in Costa Rica, Pura Vida!!

PHILOSOPHY

This is pretty much I thrive achieving in my life: Make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future.

The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty.

IN THE END, ITS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH THAT DEFINES YOU, ITS HOW YOU GOT THROUGH IT. THIS HAS MADE YOU THE PERSON YOU ARE TODAY AND THE PERSON YOU ARE CAPABLE OF BEING TOMORROW

Interests

I also enjoy reading a good book and I love listening to music, my music taste is very diverse, for example I love Old Rock such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan but I also like Reggae - Roots, and groups such as Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, a lot of the grunge era, Foo Fighters, RHCP.

Oh and I also love Trance Music. Above & Beyond.

I listen to full on morning / full on night psytrance..liquid DnB...

I'm also really into movies (I've seen hundreds lol) and some T.V. series (Game of Thrones, Friends, The Wire, and so on) and I really enjoy quality European movies (french, italian and german).

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished reading This Book will save your life by A.M. Homes. It was so funny, you should check it out and now I'm beginning The analphabet who knew how to count by Jonas Jonasson. I have tons of books I love, I have to update this another day with more time :D. A song of Ice and Fire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most exhilirating moment I've experienced recently was when I ran my first 30km Moon Run Trail Run Race in Monteverde Costa Rica, between the cold, wind, fog, rain and running in pitch darkness for about 6 hours, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had, and also probably the most challenging one. And the Moon was always there lightning the path, so it was truly amazing.

Besides that one, I would say hiking in the tropic jungle and just listening to all the nature and animals that sorround you when you are at magical places like that, things you can't get to experience living in the city.

Oh I also did fly in a parapenting / paragliding. THAT WAS SO F*** COOL !!!

Recently I also got the chance to see for the first time in my life Whales in the wild, it was a very nice expierence!
