About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To make more friends!

ABOUT ME

I am a born and bred Welshie even though I do not have the accent! My form of transport is a push bike and now a car- I've recently just passed my driving test-yeay!!!!
I am an artist and photographer with many interests.
I am currently learning to play the guitar, which means I’ve now figured out how many hours someone must put in to sound good!
To relax I like Saunas, walking in the countryside and Gardening. I enjoy eating tasty meals.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we should teach and share as much as we can with each other.
We all have things to overcome and resolve in our lives and the harder it is the more wise we become from it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had a long break from Coach Surfing unfortunately! The time is right now to invite people to this remote sea side location with lots of ancient sites and Historical interest!

I have only stayed with one person through CS, in Bristol. In the previous place I lived at we accommodated many Coach Surfers and it was really great to meet such a variety of people from different places.

Interests

Music, Art, Photography, Food, Gardening, Swimming, Textiles & Costume Making, Travelling, Dancing, the list goes on!

Music, Movies, and Books

Such vast topics- I don't know where to start!!

I listen to Radio 6 a lot because I like the variation and unexpected selection of eclectic music. To name some of my music off the top of my head: Buck 65, Aesop Rock, Dizraeli And The Small Gods, The Destroyers, The Cat Empire, Steve Miller, The Fugees, Queens Of The Stone Age, Audioslave, Rodrigo Y Gabriela- the list goes on.

Recently I watched 'What We Do In The Shadows', which was a funny film about Vampires! The 'Amy', film was done well I thought.
I watch more Series these days like 'The Wire'(true Drama at it's best), 'Breaking Bad', 'Vikings' (amazing!!!!), 'Game Of Thrones'(obviously), 'This Is England', and for comedy I liked 'Farther Ted', 'The I.T Crowd', 'Green Wing'. The only T.V show I watch is Graham Norton who I love and it keeps me slightly in touch with Popular Culture.

The first book which really shock my perspctive was 1984 by George Orwell.
The most recent book i've read was 'The Rosie Project', it was funny and light. 'Mutant Message Down Under' by Marlo Morgan was a philosophical inspiration. I like gritty crime novels written by Jack Arnott! My favourite Author is Sue Monk Kidd for writing about the enduring plight of Women and Slaves having existed throughout history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been explored New Zealand and fallen off a cliff on to OneKaka beach and broken my neck and lived to tell the story!
"The name Onekaka is Māori and translated as "burning sands". Wikipedia".

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to exchange experiences, stories, songs, laughs and philosophize!
