Well...hopefully the travelling and adventures can start again :) Not the typical tourist. Prefer to see how the locals live and explore North, East, South and West of each city centre I visit :) When I was growing up I loved sports more than anything but now travelling has become my number 1 passion! I've been to 46.5 countries and hopefully there will be a few more soon :) I was born in London and I've lived there my whole life. But...London life is busy so I like to take a rest from this crazy city and see new places. My job involves working for the government and it's Brexit-related....! I love living in London and there's so much to do but I do prefer cultures where people like to smile and have a good time! Us Londoners are not great at smiling but I'd like to think I'm helpful to all London guests that I pass in the streets when I'm on my way to work or going out to the shops for lunch :) At the moment I can't host but that may change in the near future. For now, I'm just interested in finding out about other countries and cultures. To be honest I've been a bit selfish and used Couchsurfing to go into forums and learn new things about places overseas! Things that I like to do: Apart from travel (!) - Play and watch sports, go to the gym, EAT (very important), go to cosy cafes and talk all evening, cycle, play pool (called billiards in some countries), watch live music/theatre, drive when the roads are clear with some relaxing music, walk and.. call radio talk shows as I have an opinion on most things :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Well I just want to find out about the world. I'm definitely not a 'closed book' like so many other Londoners. Couchsurfing (I hope) will enable me to discover new things about places I haven't been to and perhaps meet some interesting people who can provide recommendations and suggestions. Similarly, I can share some of the secrets of London away from the typical touristy stuff people do over here like visit Big Ben and the London Eye….zzzzzzzzzzz.

What do I say here?! Erm, well I can teach English I guess…since I was born here in London! I'd like to learn about other cultures and how different people in the world behave in a similar situation.
