ABOUT ME
I'm a fun loving and outgoing veterinary student living living in the Minneapolis area. I'm originally form Chicago and am big Bears and Bulls fan.
While I'm not learning how to save the world one puppy at a time, I love going out, golfing, disc golfing, and spending time outside with my dog.
PHILOSOPHY
"Less bark, more wag"
"Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there"
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"
"Hakuna-Matata"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of now, I have surfed but never hosted anyone. My circumstances (as a full time student living with other students) haven't been the best for hosting, but I look forward to doing so when I am done with school!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have used Couchsurfing twice and both were amazing experiences.
First, I was hosted by Janice, who showed me an awesome time hanging out in Denver.
Next, I stayed with Olga in London, where she took me to the touristy spots as well as all her favorite hangouts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent a month on a research trip in Botswana. While I had been to South Africa before (in 2008), this trip was unique in that I was in a remote area living in a tent without running water or electricity.
The nature of the trip involved tracking and darting large African predators, such as leopards, lions, hyenas, and African wild dogs. We took blood and other samples from them to study the spread of a virus endemic to the area.
