ABOUT ME

FYI: I'm not in Potwin, Kansas at the moment. My computer server just wishes I was for some reason.

I'm basically just hoping to get the inside scoop from some locals and perhaps connect with some interesting personalities along the way.
On the receiving end I definitely enjoy showing people around. That is if you like to listen to a nerd ramble about otherwise useless facts and maybe take a hike or grab a drink. I could probably make a connection with almost anyone that meets my "types of people I enjoy" response listed below. But I'm likely to develop an even better connection with those that are PASSIONATE about living and understand that reality is something you experience first hand, not on a television screen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to 40+ US states so hopefully I'll have the chance to share my wealth of nerdy info (best speakeasy's, museums, food, trails, etc.) with fellow CSer's planning to surf the states.

Good conversation, passionate & curious people, making wine, music, nature, physical activity, literature, writing, photography, art, animals, kids, baseball, snowboarding, international history, science, nutrition, philanthropy, environmental activism, recycling, quality food & drink (in a word, I'm convivial), and basically any positive experience that makes me see the world differently the next morning, if only in a subtle way.

Indie movies, or regular ol fashioned popcorn movies with depth or laughably implausible humor.. Books? Whatever is in front of me. Music? Forget it, you first. I've been to well over 150 concerts and appreciate artists in every genre, from Classical to Industrial and everything in between. I devour art like most Americans eat food. :P
