ABOUT ME

Im what most people might call an adventerous type. I like dangerous activities. I usually throw caution into the wind and do what feels borderline right. I enjoy nearly any type of physical activity from surfing to basketball. I like traveling (obviously), hiking, going fast, and competition.
things that i dont care for: video games, and lazy weekends.
I am half Japanese and half American, raised in both countries. Im as half as they come.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep my happiness level at a maximum at all times. Stresses and extra responsibilities are things I rarely add to my life on purpose. I love my job and often put in overtime, but my work is not stressful, its enjoyable. we should all enjoy our jobs

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

until now, ive been a host to some wonderful people (only). I soon want to become a surfer myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some amazing people through couch surfing. No matter where I am in the world, im positive that i will keep my doors open to the couch surfing community.

兴趣

as you might have gathered, im full of energy, so people who feed off of other peoples energy should be reeling to go see some things when surfing through my neighborhood. I enjoy all activities that get my body moving, so the things i like doing the most are obviously outdoors, or indoor sports. Surfing is my favorite hobby, so if its waves you like, come on down.

i listen to more music than watching movies and reading put together. that being said, i do all three. from least to most, movies, books, music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

there is no way i can only pick a couple moments out of my life that have been awe-striking, so i will sum up what usually makes me feel amazement. first laying eyes upon a gigantic mountain range that was previously not visible (due to clouds the previous day).. im reminded of waking up in borneo and seeing mt kinabalu for the first time, that i couldnt see the day before because it was rainy. also, seeing the matterhorn (sp) for the first time in the swiss alps on Swiss day (aug 1).
walking around in the streets of a foreign country (any) for the first time and seeing the food, hearing the language, smelling the smells and seeing the scenes always leaves a lasting impression on me. usually my first cup of coffee in a new country lingers in my mind also. the one that comes to mind is vietnam. I drank the strongest coffee ive ever drank in my life, and it was served in a coffee mug(as it should) but the coffee mug was sitting in a bowl filled with hot water so the coffee could stay warmer longer... that was awesome

Africa changed my life.

I work a lot and live with my girlfriend so I can only offer passers-by a "maybe" for an occasional couch to crash on and a shower.
