UPDATE: After a year of planning and saving, starting June 1st, 2015 I will be backpacking around the world indefinitely! I'm very excited and want YOU to be a part of it. I choose my requests carefully. I want to meet YOU!
Update: 14 months in and still going strong!
I've learned so many beautiful lessons...most importantly...the world is GOOD!
I want to learn about you and your life. I'll play the guitar, you bring your voice. I'm self sufficient, but would love to spend time with you and your friends! I take great pride in being respectful of people's places, cleaning up after myself and being courteous to my hosts.
I'm very talkative and outgoing. I can go out with the best, but can also spend a quiet evening at home. I love intelligent conversation and exploring the city by night.
I'm most certainly likely to be "Yes Man". Would you like to go the beach? Yes! Would you like to climb that mountain? Yes! Would you like to try this dish? Yes!
I'm very respectful, clean, talkative, excitable, and inquisitive. I have a strong desire to learn new things, try new foods and broaden my perspective.
I do very well with really social, talkative people. I love conversation. If you are looking for a quiet, sleepy evening while stopping through, my couch might not be your best bet. I rarely go to bed before 2:00 AM. Even rarer is me getting out of bed early!
"What would you do if you weren't afraid?" excerpt from "Who moved my cheese?"
"'What do you do for recreation?' 'Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.'" The Dude
"It is while we are young that the habit of industry is formed. If not then, it never is afterwards. The fortune of our lives, therefore, depends on employing well the short period of youth. If at any moment, my dear, you catch yourself in idleness, start from it as you would from the precipice of a gulf." Thomas Jefferson
"Nie wieder Berlin!" Eurotrip

Baseball, Tom Brady, trying new beer, acoustic guitar, In-A-Tub tacos, Indian food, stand-up comedy, tennis, summer walks, winter air, Russian sour cream, kebab, backpacking, parks, train rides, parking in the lines between handicap spaces, old horror movies, Finnish countryside, cheez-its...and you!
I love to talk about the physics of the universe. Much like Albert Einstein, my mind is always contemplating the unified theory.

As of this writing, I've been backpacking around the world for 14 months. Starting in Boston/DC/NY to Iceland, 5 months in EU, 1 month in the Middle East, 1 month in India, 1 month in Southeast Asia, then China, Japan, Korea and Oz...
Teach, Learn, Share
I pride myself in knowing how to say something amusing in every language, such as,"My unicorn is dead!" What can you add?
I've been playing guitar for 23 years and enjoying teaching.
I'm currently butchering the Russian and Swedish languages. If you can teach me a bit of yours, I would love to learn.
