Hey 🙋! that’s 👆 me – Shashinath a Travel Blogger + Travel Vlogger who loves to explore different places and to become part of it where I get to meet people who are not like me, but people who can I like all the same.

I love to take pictures of places, things, and people I meet which allows my mind to be in constant awe of life on earth. I love to see things with new eyes.

In the future, I want to look at a map and pictures and be able to remember how I was transformed by the places I’ve been to, the things I’ve seen, and the people I’ve met.

I want to come home and realize that I have not come home whole but have left a piece of my heart in each place I have been.

This I think is what is at the 💚 heart of adventure💚 and making my life one.

So, I can travel more, make memories, and have adventures.

Because when I am old and on my death bed I will not think of all the things I bought in my life but I will think of that time when I got lost in my dream city or place. The nights I spent falling in love under the stars and all the amazing people I met along my way. I will think of the moments that made me feel truly alive and at the very end, these memories will be the only valuable possessions I own.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

OK! Now the question is why I am here? I am on Couchsurfing because:

1) Couchsurfing is the only platform that connects traveller like me to a global community of travelers where one can interact and share their experiences with each other.

2) It allows me to meet people of different cultures where I can learn new things whether it's about people, places, food, etc. that gives me a lot of happiness.

3) Staying with locals that’s probably the best thing about Couchsurfing and so much more fun than staying in a hotel or hostel. I know hostels are fun, I like them too, but staying with a local gives you the opportunity to live like a local where you don’t just visit the must-sees and go to the big tourist attractions but you go with your host doing what he/she does usually with his/her friends or family and they show you places you would probably never have gone to if you were backpacking on your own.

So, there are so many reasons to be on Couchsurfing but I think these are the most important ones
