We’re a Cuban–Mexican couple who’ve been living in Las Vegas for about 9 years. I’m an optometrist (although lately I’ve been doing everything except optometry 😅). Mario is a social psychologist, at this moment he works as ABA technician , and back in Mexico he was a college professor.
We love road trips, meeting people from different cultures, and sharing experiences. Food is a big part of our life — we enjoy trying dishes from all over the world and we cook a lot at home too, mostly Cuban and Mexican.
We’re really into outdoor activities like hiking, camping, swimming, and exploring nature with our dogs.
We have two dogs. They’re well behaved and respectful, but they do live in the house, so if someone isn’t comfortable around dogs it might not be the best fit.
We’re friendly, pretty easygoing, and enjoy good vibes and good company. Couchsurfing has brought some really great people into our lives and we’re always happy to meet new friends and share stories, food, or an adventure.
