CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to finally finish my Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike by completing the 200 mile section from Steven's Pass to the Canadian border that I was unable to complete in 2017 due to early winter storms!

ABOUT ME

I'm a traveling nurse by profession and a wanderer by nature. My partner and I share our work and our adventures. Our profession allows us to combine travel and work, as well as the flexibility to take extended time off to travel the globe. We thrive on seeing new places, learning new things, meeting interesting people and caring for our patients and their families in their time of need.

I pursue excellence in my work and I value continuous learning that promotes growth and change. I strive to embody integrity and compassion and to engage other humans with a non-judgemental attitude of love and curiousity.

I love the couch surfing community! I have had so much fun hosting interesting, beautiful, genuine people from all over the world, and I've also experienced so much generosity and fun engagement from hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely love making new friends along my journeys and I've found that sleeping on couches, inviting travelers to sleep on mine and going to CS meetups are great ways to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most types of music, but have lately been listening to a lot of Latino/a/x artists. I am almost always reading several books, mostly nonfiction but I make exceptions for pleasure reading. I love talking about what I'm learning. I embrace my inner nerd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been blessed with many life experiences that I consider to be amazing - from my job caring for people in the ICU, to sailing across the Atlantic and riding my bike through Baja, Mexico. I would love to share some experiences in person and hear some of yours in return!

I enjoy cooking and would love to prepare a meal for you or join you in preparing one of your favorite meals so I can learn! I'm happy to contribute to your home by sharing food and beverages as well as conversation and positive energy!
