ABOUT ME I'm a people person that has recently discovered the joy of spending time alone. PHILOSOPHY I have recently adopted more of a live and let live philosophy than I have had in the past. That is, I don't really have a strong urge to convert others to my way of thinking. Along with that, I try really hard to accept people where they are, even if their value systems and priorities may vary drastically from my own.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost every type of music. I don't really like country, zydeco, speed metal, or most classical. I have read many books over the years. Here are just a few of my favorite authors: Steinbeck, Herman Hesse, Vonnegut, Thomas Wolfe, Ken Kesey. I don't really watch very many movies because there are so many bad ones out there. One that I did see recently that I really enjoyed was "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly".
My Interests
I spend the bulk of my spare time engaged in the following activities: Reading, listening to and playing music, meditating, journaling, camping, hiking, fishing, biking, and lots of time just visiting with friends.
