About Me

2022/2023- Away from Warsaw traveling for the foreseeable future. Hitchhiking/backpacking in the Balkans, Turkey, Caucasus, Central Asia, and Middle East! Will be working online from time-to-time, so on work-heavy days I will seek private accomodation instead of a host. However, I'm down to meet with you and possibly be hosted if you'd be so kind!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Half of my trips are solo. I like meeting people and making new connections, which this app has helped me with a lot. I used to be extremely introverted. Still am, but less so now thanks to CS 😎

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to fill in this category...

Music- Nick Cave, Bladee, Converge, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Björk, Baroness, Bruce Springsteen, Barış Manço...idk how to represent my music taste in a list. just try me.

Books- never learned how to read 😢 (jkjk- Camus, Kapuściński, Plath, Dostoevsky, plenty more)

Movies- sorry but most Marvel and new Disney with a billion sequels are lost on me. I like lots of stuff and enjoy going to film festivals. I got a criterion channel subscription during lockdown and am now a 100% genuine, certified cinephile (sarcasm). I also unabashedly love the movie Borat (sorry to anyone from Kazakhstan reading this--your country is amazing)

I also like watching Youtube videos- from quality content creators to shitposts and meme accounts. Some favorites are: Planeta Abstrakcja, Bald and Bankrupt, Living Ironically in Europe, and Channel 5

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of things but a recent one was visit the Danube Delta in Romania. I don't see many travelers writing or making videos about the place, so I was really curious. Amazing scenery, people, food. Couldn't believe I was still in Romania after the ferry ride. Looks totally different than the rest of the country.

One billion trillion dollars
