I'm from the USA but I live in Poland. This has confused a lot of people that I've met on here, so I'm just letting you know up front. My wife and I are back in Warsaw after 2 years of nonstop travel. We'll get back to it soon but happy to host while we're in one place.

We both work, so please only request to stay with us if you're comfortable with spending time by yourself around the city. We'll try our hardest to make time to meet you and do something together, but no promises. For that reason we prefer self-sufficient travelers who are fine spending time on their own.

We are more than happy to give suggestions on things to do during your stay and we will!! But if you think you need a local guide to show you around all day then we aren't the best choice for you. Enjoy the freedom and come and go from our home as you wish (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Half of my trips are solo. I like meeting people and making new connections, which this app has helped me with a lot. I used to be extremely introverted. Still am, but less so now thanks to CS 😎
