Overview
About Me
Moved to NZ in 2018, originally from the Philippines. I left my life in the tropics for a new phase of adventure in New Zealand. I work in IT, full time. I'm pretty low key, easy, and open, open to different kinds of people, open to all sorts of stories, open to new experiences. My kind of people are the easy going/adaptable, open minded, empathetic and kind ones, the crazy and the ones who are full of character, I live for great connections.
🔴PS. Please read my PROFILE and HOME section and don’t expect me to reply if your message is copy&paste or non-personalized - that’s not the spirit of couchsurfing, that’s very much an airbnb/hostel booking like. I appreciate an honest request, and some bits of info about yourself and why you want to stay at mine.
🔴PPS. Biggest pet peeve - entitled humans aka FREE LOADERS. (I see you ;) I'm offering my home to strangers for free, I'm pretty giving and helpful without asking anything in return, so if you're that kind of person who likes to take advantage of that, find another place :)
🔴PPPS. Couchsurfing is a two way street, an exchange of energies, time, and or any offering. it's not a free hostel. I appreciate people who share something in return. Not that it's obligatory, but that's the kind of experience I am after.
🔴PPPPS. I receive a couple of requests a day. Due to this amount of messages I can’t always reply to all of them. Don’t take it personally.
🔴PPPPPS. We like boardgames in my flat :)
READ MY HOME SECTION - all the hosting information/details needed/what to expect before sending a request is indicated there ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this is like tinder. Oh I take that back... definitely not like tinder.
Because couchsurfing is like traveling without going to places. (Well, a host's perspective)
Because at the end of the day, meeting people from different places opens up a different dimension of life that you don't usually see, hear or understand.
Couchsurfing is probably one of the best Travel "tools" out there. Out of my years in using CS, I only had 1 bad experience so it doesn't really affect my views on CS.. yet. Please don't be the second one :P

Music, Movies, and Books
I like myself a good boogie, neo-soul or anything soulful + old school hip hop is my jam.
I'm an all around kind of guy when it comes to music, movies or books, and open to new suggestions, but I like talking about these kind of stuff in person so hey, let's talk this over coffee.
