CURRENT MISSION To have an adventure! ABOUT ME I've never been very good at describing myself, so I asked a few friends, and the most common responses were that I'm friendly, funny, chilled, and can easily get along with anyone, no matter the circumstances :) I trust my friends - haha :) PHILOSOPHY To make the most of what I have, and to live modestly

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE All my couchsurfing experiences have been amazing!! I've really enjoyed meeting new people from all over the world, and still keep in touch with most of them :)
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourites are: Music - The Clash, the Jam, Hotchip, CocoRosie, The Smiths, Modest Mouse, The Cribs, Arcade Fire, The Libertines, Yelle, Blur, Jamie T, Maximo Park, Blink 182, LCD Soundsystem, The Pixies etc etc [there's tonnes] Films - Lola rennt, Drive, anything by Wes Anderson Books - The Gormanghast Trilogy, A Room with a View, anything by Rose Tremain.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbing a mountain in the Pyrenees - there was still a bit of snow on the top, and it was just breath-taking! Swimming out into the middle of a lake in front of the Alps on a sunny day. Seeing an epic thunderstorm over Munich from the tenth floor of a high-rise building. Sky-diving! Albeit only in Leeds, but it was one of the best feelings ever! Travelling around and couchsurfing alone in Argentina and Chile!!
My Interests
I studied languages [French and German]at Leeds University, got my first post-grad job and knew from Day 1 that I didn't want to be there, and instead wanted to save up and live abroad. So I moved to Budapest for 3 years, and was later transferred to Dublin with my job. I moved back to my hometown in the UK during Covid and am currently starting afresh with a new job and studying to be a Speech and Language Therapist :) I absolutely love exploring other cultures. I'm into my music scenes [mainly indie, punk, pop, ska, reggae, rock], and like to go see bands playing. I'm interested in seeing new places from a non-touristic point of view, and also in experiencing the night-life! I also like to cook, so am happy to cook you a slap-up meal :)
