In a nutshell: I'm a guy from Hungary who worked in the last 4 years at a multinational recruitment agency as a recruitment consultant in Budapest. In July 2015 I decided to quit my job and doing something totally different when I can be more myself and thanks to this I can help the organization where I am. I think this is the most important. So I applied for an EVS and did a12 months long volunteer project in Savona, North-Italy.
Volunteering plays an important role in my life. Since May 2009 I have been volunteering at Bátor Tábor Foundation, which is a member of Seriousfun Children’s Network founded by Paul Newman. The organization provides summer camps for children who suffers from serious illness (cancer, hemophilia, etc.). I also volunteered as a trainer in cooperation with BCG when we provided professional job seeking and interviewing trainings for roma youths.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been using CS since October 2010 - when I started my one year long ERASMUS scholarship in Turkey. During the past 5 years I visited many cities, surfed couches in 3 different countries and hosted friends in Budapest. Yes, I wrote friends because most of my previous hosts became a friend - as I met amazing people during my trips - and we try to visit eachother regurarly but at least we keep in touch.

- hitchhiking for 12 days and more than 2200 km in Turkey in a row
