About Me
Vision
To turn everyone around me into a more thoughtful and connected human being.
Who am I?
I grew up in the lively streets of Old Dhaka, starting my days amid the city’s buzz, heading into brand meetings, and ending with the flavors of Old Town. Though my family has since moved to USA, I’ve settled in Gulshan, keeping the spirit of Old Dhaka alive—and keeping a room open for travelers seeking authentic stories.
I’m passionate about healthcare, wellness, and brand communication. I love collecting local newspapers and fridge magnets—the perfect souvenirs if you’re staying with us! No need for fancy gifts; small, meaningful tokens are my favorite.
Our home & hosting preferences:
We value faith. I enjoy open conversations with all, but we prefer to host guests who follow Abrahamic religions.
We can only host female travelers (subject to profile reviews by my wife) or families with children (for a short stay of a couple of days).
We welcome guests who share interests in healthy living, wellness, healthcare, or branding.
We can host for a maximum of two weekdays.
Your room is in Gulshan, a central, safe neighborhood in Dhaka.
Our family
My wife is a pharmacist turned schoolteacher and a healthy food enthusiast.
My daughter loves chatting about crochet, abstract art, Jennie (Blackpink), and Roblox.
My son enjoys conversations about LEGO, Roblox, and Bugatti cars.
And as for me—I’ve been a Manchester United fan for 30 years (yes, through thick and thin!).
Philosophy
If humans are the consumer, then humanity should always be the route to communicate and connect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I came out of my room around 0230am (night). I felt someone was at the terrace. got a piece of wood on hand, opened the door...oh shit! that's my mom fixing a plant. she felt that the plant needed some air, so she shifted it from the living room to the terrace...
