Hi! I'm a San Franciscan who enjoys traveling, reading, eating, learning, and laughing. On weekends in SF, I like to read the newspaper, go to the park, enjoy a beer in the sun, and try new recipes and restaurants.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to see different parts of the world and meet locals from different cultures and learn from them.
I also hope to host travelers in SF and share this beautiful city with them.
Hip hop, the planet, social justice, food, reading, and exploring nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bay Area hip hop, rap, 90's hip hop and 90's pop, as well as funk and trip hop- Blue Scholars, The Internet, Banks, Tame Impala
Books, my favorite thing! Lolita, Farenheit 451, The Perk of Being a Wallflower, The Bell Jar, The Electric Acid Kool Aid Test, and everything by Haruki Murakami, Rebecca Solnit, and Derrick Jensen. And the occasional psychological thriller about domestic murders (The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl, The Perfect Nanny, etc;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked in Snowqualmie Pass, in Washington State, near Mt. Rainier. It was so beautiful and rewarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always enjoy talking with others about anything-- from comparative politics to animals to environmental science to how to prepare the best coconut rice. I enjoy meeting others who have different perspectives from me.
