CURRENT MISSION Liberation of the body, mind and spirit through (self)acceptance ABOUT ME As a person who is genuinely interested in people, I like to be open and approachable and overall friendly. I enjoy conversations and am slowly switching from a active speaker to an active listener as I believe that serves everyone better. Besides being quite social I am a nature lover as well, I enjoy long walks in nature and the peaceful atmosphere that it offers. I used to like cooking a lot, but that changed over time so if I am hosting you, you are warmly invited to prepare food and present the offering :D , if I am the one surfing I would be more inclined to please my host with a proper meal- so lets say I am a decent cook in special occasions.. and I ll live it at that. Even though I love simplicity- at times I find it hard to create it in my life, so currently I am working on an instruction manual called ¨Simply Sonja" that is designed to equip the interested reader with knowledge,, understanding, tips and tricks how to get the best of interactions with me. It is still work in progress and I hope I ll be able to present you the ¨creation¨ in case of demand :D ... if not and, you are interested, I can read you parts of it cause I am ( lets be honest ) quite proud of my work ( plus it is written in a way that it is suppose to be funny ) So to sum up the ¨about me¨ section I conclude that as a host and a surfer I am welcoming and accepting a wide range of personalities and characters as long as the interaction is respectful and dignifying. PHILOSOPHY "Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will."

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I consider CS as my home and people on it as my friends. I have gained so much from meeting or getting in touch with kind and generous people from this community that it altered some core beliefs I had about life. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My first CS experience- I was modest and did not want to go far from home, so with my ex boyfriend we choose Budapest, it was in October during my birthday and it was great. Later on I was traveling mainly alone ( Belgium,Netherlands, Turkey, Luxembourg, Portugal, etc)and every time pleasantly hosted and welcomed.
